The Updated Baby Bloomer
Our Updated Baby bLoomer. Firstly, A cleaned up circuit and build in our Baby Bloomer and I can’t play without one. Secondly, it is used as always-on, last-in-chain (Vintage dual) preamp pedal adds thick harmonic character and a warm transparent boost while keeping incredible clarity. Inspired by the early Echoplex sounds, (in particular the Maestro EP-3 and EP-2) we used JFET preamps to create a pedal that sounds as big and fat as the original. Remember, as last-in-chain on your pedal board, the B-Bloomer will help your other effect pedals sound bigger and fuller without additional noise or distortion.
- Gain Control Options – Bloomer
The Sweet Spot: At 12 to 2 o’clock position you will get a 3DB+ boost which adds a slight phase shift with a fattening tone enhancement, very 3D sounding.
3 to 5 o’clock position for 1dB or 2dBs for a slightly vintage sound
9 to 11 o’clock position for a matching gain option
No signal in off position (full counter-clockwise)
3-way Toggle Switch
Choose between the early version of the preamp (brighter/clearer) and the later version (which was a fatter, darker tone). Get a hybrid of both preamps in the middle position.
